Rachel's primary focus is handling cases for children who have immigrated to the United States and are applying for Special Immigrant Juvenile Status to avoid deportation due to abuse, abandonment, or neglect by a parent(s). She joined Stein Legal in 2021, bringing a wealth of experience, including from her time as a project manager for the U.S. Department of Defense. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Rachel moved to the DMV area to live closer to her younger siblings and nephews. She loves the area and has taken advantage of its many career opportunities, whether as a practicing attorney or in project management. Rachel's passion for the law is driven by her desire to positively impact people's lives, just as her grandmother did as a social worker.
Rachel's approach to practicing law involves taking the time to understand her clients’ needs and circumstances to work toward finding solutions that will best serve them. She is known for her sense of humor, compassion, and ability to connect with people, which her clients appreciate. Her strengths include her passion for her work, empathy for her clients, persistence, dependability, and loyalty. Rachel takes pride in helping children facing adversity obtain legal outcomes that make them feel happy and secure.
As a lifelong learner, Rachel enjoys reading and watching documentaries. She is always looking to expand her knowledge and skills, and her enthusiasm for learning sets her apart from other attorneys. Rachel's integrity, empathy, and loyalty to the community make her a valuable asset to Stein Legal.
